Reflections on College English Teaching Reform from the Perspective of Intercultural Education

Abstract: From the perspective of cross-cultural education, it is of great significance to promote the reform of college English curriculum teaching and improve students' cross-cultural communication ability to cultivate outstanding talents with international vision and English cross-cultural communication ability. Through the analysis of the importance of cultivating students' intercultural communicative competence in college English teaching, this paper puts forward some measures to promote college English teaching reform, such as establishing the concept of intercultural education, expanding college English teaching content, optimizing college English teaching mode, improving teachers' teaching ability and improving English teaching evaluation methods, so as to cultivate more intercultural communicative competence compound talents.
