Abstract: Through analyzing the initial job tasks of the students majoring in hotel management of Higher Vocational Colleges, and summarizes the vocational ability required. Then constructs the vocational ability evaluation system, using factor analysis method to divide the vocational ability into three levels: service skills, learning adaptation and vocational spirit. According to the multiple regression analysis, this paper points out the weight of the vocational ability, and puts forward the corresponding cultivation suggestions based on the key links of vocational ability.
