Abstract: “Uncertainty analysis for groundwater flow modeling” is a teaching reform course for the fourth-year university students majoring in groundwater science and engineering and hydrology and water resources. It is a theoretical and professional course. This course is based on groundwater flow modeling, applying probability and statistics methods to groundwater flow modeling, which requires students to have higher mathematical abstract thinking. In order to help students understand and master the uncertainty analysis method of groundwater simulation and improve the teaching effect, the author applies the case teaching method to the teaching of the course. Through the specific simulation cases, the abstract knowledge is concreted and analyzed concretely, so as to arouse the students' learning enthusiasm, expand their creative thinking, and make them master the uncertainty score of groundwater simulation analysis method.
