Abstract: Online teaching has become an important auxiliary means of classroom teaching. With the development of education informatization, online and off line mixed teaching has been widely applied and practiced in universities. So has it a been applied in botany teaching. In order to improve the teaching effect of botany, this paper reformed the teaching of botany. From the aspects of teaching scheme design, process design, assessment reform and construction of online courses, we carried out the exploration of online and offline mixed teaching practice in botany teaching. The results show that the mixed teaching mode can effectively stimulate students' learning enthusiasm, improve their autonomous learning ability and thus improve the teaching quality of botany.
