Abstract: In recent years, the rural library has been widely established and played a role in rural areas, and the rural public reading service has also received more and more attention. With the steady progress of urbanization and the continuous improvement of urbanization quality, the construction of rural public reading service system is facing great opportunities and challenges. The state has invested a lot of manpower and capital, but the problem of imbalance and insufficiency still exists. We should fully understand the rural reading service environment, grasp the growing reading needs of farmers, take small towns as the main service position, improve the rural public reading service network, innovate the service mode and content, and do a good job The construction of reading promotion talent team is the way to build the rural public reading service system.
