Study on English Reading Promotion by Educational Games in Primary School Library in Underdeveloped Areas

Abstract: Taking Wenqing Road Primary School Library as an example, this paper collected quantitative and qualitative data to analyze attitudes and opinions of students, teachers and parents on library promoting English reading by using educational game. Finding indicated that educational, technological and social affordances of the game were able to be perceived by students, and students' reading interest has been greatly improved. In addition, participants' attitudes towards library promoting the game has been found to be strongly positive. In the end, three practical suggestions are outlined.
