Abstract: With the development of vocational teaching, new requirements are put forward for the ideological and political theory classroom in higher vocational colleges, which requires more comprehensive training and education for students. This requires the relevant schools and teachers to guide them ideologically first, and then to carry out more active and effective ideological and political theory teaching in combination with students' actual learning situation and outline requirements, so as to play a good guiding role in the healthy development and growth of students, which also has a positive impact on the sustainable development of society. This paper mainly analyzes the current situation of Ideological and political teaching in higher vocational colleges, points out the various problems encountered in the development process, and gives some constructive and targeted opinions, hoping to ultimately help to comprehensively improve the quality of ideological and political teaching in higher vocational colleges.
