Abstract: With the arrival of the new era of "double first-class" construction, colleges and universities across the country have made a new round of construction planning in order to achieve the goal of "double first-class". In the wave of "double first-class" construction, how to carry out discipline construction and how to promote "connotation construction" in art colleges and universities are worthy of in-depth study. This paper discusses the characteristics of disciplines and specialties, personnel training, scientific research and social services, and how to better grasp the opportunity of "double first-class" construction to carry out discipline construction.
