Discussion on the Teaching Reform of Civil Engineering Major from the Perspective of Ideological and Political Courses——Taking City College of Southwest University of Science and Technology as An Example

Abstract: Ideological and political course requires teachers to infiltrate the explanation of Ideological and political education in professional courses, and introduce ideological and political education into the teaching of professional courses, so that students can truly understand the importance of Ideological and political education combined with their professional knowledge. However, the infiltration of Ideological and political education has also brought difficulties to professional teachers. Compared with liberal arts, the infiltration of Ideological and political education in civil engineering is even more difficult. This paper takes the City College of Southwest University of science and technology as an example, starting from the necessity of Ideological and political classroom to classroom ideological and political education, puts forward the difficulties of Ideological and political education in civil engineering major, and puts forward some suggestions according to these problems.
