The Relationship between Entrepreneurial Characteristics and Entrepreneurial Intention of College Students——Take A University as An Example

Abstract

Abstract: In order to investigate the relationship between entrepreneurial personality and the entrepreneurial intention, the questionnaire of entrepreneurial personality traits and entrepreneurial intention were used in 478 college students. The results showed that, the scores of achievement demand, risk-taking, initiative and entrepreneurial intention from liberal arts were higher significantly than science students; and the achievement demand, risk-taking and initiative were positively related to entrepreneurial intention; moreover, the achievement demand and the initiative predicted entrepreneurial intention directly. This study suggests that the one of way to improve entrepreneurial intention was cultivating students' entrepreneurial personality.
