Abstract: Compared with other disciplines, art started late and is a growing discipline. Therefore, it is necessary to discuss in depth the teaching mode suitable for the development of art postgraduates, and cultivate artistic talents to adapt to the development of the new era. In recent years, with the continuous development of innovation and entrepreneurship, innovation and entrepreneurship education has become the top priority of employment in colleges and universities. Art graduates are generally faced with the problems of difficulty and great pressure. Therefore, the guidance of innovative thinking is very important in the education of students. This paper focuses on the necessity of cultivating innovative thinking of art students, and discusses and analyzes how to improve the innovative thinking of art students, which has positive guiding significance for solving the practical problem of insufficient cultivation of innovative thinking in art education.
