Abstract: Practice teaching is an important part of the student training plan of engineering cost major in higher vocational colleges, it can help students consolidate their professional theoretical knowledge, improve professional skills and solve practical engineering problems. Aiming at the problems existing in the practical teaching system of engineering cost specialty in higher vocational colleges, with the aim of cultivating professional talents who can meet the needs of local economic development,the reacher discusses the connotation and significance of the, and Outcome-Based Education is introduced into the process of practical teaching. This paper puts forward the reform approaches of practical teaching from four aspects: the establishment of teaching staff, the construction of practical training base, the reform of teaching system and the improvement of assessment system, so as to improve the learning effect of practical teaching.
