Research on the Effect of Teaching Method Reform of College Students' Mental Health Education Course

Abstract: Aiming at the reform of teaching method of “College Students' Mental Health Education” course, this paper puts forward two methods which are adding situational simulation discussion and group psychological counseling in classroom teaching. Through teaching practice, the feasibility and effectiveness of teaching reform are verified from three aspects: course satisfaction, students' homework quality and students' mental health level, which are embodied in the following aspects: The satisfaction of the course of the reform group was significantly higher than that of the regular group(P<0.05); the quality of homework of the reform group is obviously better than that of the regular group(P<0.05);The students' mental health after the reform was significantly improved(P<0.05). The results show that the reformed mental health education course has a significant substantive effect on improving the effect of course publicity and improving students' mental health level.
