Abstract: The development of the big data era cannot be separated from the statistical professionals, how to train statistical talents to meet the requirements of the big data era has become an important problem for the major of economic statistics in colleges and universities. This paper studies the training methods of statistical professionals in the big data era, analyzes the requirements of the big data era and the problems existing in the work, and puts forward some solutions to improve the training effect of statistical professionals.
