Exploration on Teaching Reform of Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics——Take Sichuan University for Nationalities as an Example

Abstract: Probability theory and mathematical statistics are a discipline that studies the regularity of random phenomena. They are widely used in real life and are also a core basic course in the talent cultivation system of higher education. Taking sichuan minzu college as an example, this paper analyzes the existing problems of probability theory and mathematical statistics courses in ethnic colleges and universities, and puts forward some Suggestions for the teaching reform of this course.
