The Effectiveness of Online Teaching Mode for Undergraduate English Majors——A Study based on Learners' Experience

Abstract: During the spring semester of 2020, the Department of English at North China University of Technology positively responded to the guideline of “Suspending Classes Without Stopping Learning” proposed by the Ministry of Education, and fully implemented the online teaching mode. Taking 2017-2019 English majors from NCUT as the test subjects, this study investigated the effect of online teaching mode during the extended period of the spring semester of 2020, and put forward the suggestions for the improvement of online teaching.
