Abstract: Homestay village is an important type of current rural tourism development, and also an important starting point of promoting the construction of ten thousand villages scenic area in Zhejiang Province. Tiantai Mountain and Mogan mountain are important areas for the development of residential villages in Zhejiang Province. Through the comparison of the basic elements, development level, SWOT elements and tourism spatial form of the two areas, the development elements of the two areas are similar. The cluster of residential villages is basically formed, but the development of residential villages in Tiantai Mountain is slightly behind that in Mogan mountain. And get the following enlightenment: the development of the homestay village must strengthen the guidance and management of the government, pay attention to the location of the homestay village, deeply tap the cultural resources of the homestay village, pay attention to the cultural creation of the homestay operation, improve the quality of practitioners, and promote the deep integration of agriculture and tourism.
