Exploration on the Teaching of Statistics under the Concept of "Ideological and Political Courses"

Abstract: Statistics is a compulsory foundation course for the undergraduate major of agriculture and forestry economic management. Through the study of this course, students master the basic theories and methods of statistics and their applications in Excel, SPSS and other statistical software, to achieve the purpose of applying statistical methods to analyze and solve problems. This course group has persisted in incorporating elements of moral education into the statistics curriculum for more than 20 years, and has achieved significant results in leading students to love majors, academic standards, honesty and trustworthiness, and emphasis on practice. This article analyzes the teaching arrangement, teaching content, and expression of moral education elements of the statistics course under the concept of "course ideology", and takes the chapter "collection of statistical data" as an example to analyze the teaching process.
