Abstract: College students are the fundamental to the sustainable development of the nation and the country. Cultivating the correct moral concept of college students has become the key of the ideological and political education in modern colleges and universities. The volunteer service of college students is beneficial to cultivate students' noble moral sentiment and to train them to be well-rounded talents with high quality. However, at present, the voluntary service organizations of college students around the world have not formed a routine and system, and still need to be comprehensively promoted and reformed. In order to improve the social volunteer service mechanism of Guangxi independent university in the context of innovation and entrepreneurship, this paper provides referential suggestions from the aspects of setting up volunteer service courses, building management organizations and building volunteer service brands in Guangxi independent university.
