Abstract: Within the context of the World Skills Competition, the development of IoT-related specialty clusters in higher vocational education can adopt international skills competition standards as guidance to deepen curriculum reform in wireless sensor network technologies. To effectively address the challenges posed by industry demands and students'current competency levels in vocational education, curriculum development requires modular design, content optimization, methodological innovation, and platform construction aligned with World Skills Competition standards. This paper, by analyzing the job requirements and the current situation of students, proposes the implementation strategies for the curriculum reform of wireless sensor network technology. Post-implementation assessments and feedback evaluations demonstrate the program's efficacy in enhancing students'practical skills and professional competencies. Findings indicate that a World Skills Competition oriented curriculum system significantly improves students' comprehensive abilities, providing valuable insights for higher vocational education reform.
