Abstract: Biomedical research has entered the big data era, driving rapid development in bioinformatics. However, the current bioinformatics curriculum faces significant challenges in content updates, teaching models, system integration, and practical applicability, making it difficult to meet the demand for interdisciplinary talent in this new era. To address these challenges, this paper proposes designing core courses based on comprehensive surveys, reforming the curriculum structure to align with market demands, and constructing a project-based teaching framework. These initiatives aim to enhance students'professional skills and practical abilities comprehensively. By deepening the integration of big data technology with bioinformatics and optimizing the curriculum system, we can better prepare high-quality talent to meet the demands of the biomedical big data era.
