Research on Teaching Practice of Graphics and Image Processing Course in Vocational Colleges Based on STEAM Education Concept

Abstract: STEAM education philosophy focuses on cultivating students'abilities in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and comprehensive skills. The proposal of STEAM education philosophy has brought about changes in existing education and teaching, requiring students to independently complete project tasks. In the teaching practice of graphic and image processing courses in vocational colleges based on STEAM education philosophy, teachers need to adopt a project-based approach to carry out teaching, use projects as a carrier, organize students to complete project tasks in a group collaboration manner, to help studemts master the course content through project practice cooperation.
