Online and Offline Teaching Reform of Paleontology and Geohistory in Local Application-Oriented Universities Based on OBE Concept

Abstract: Based on the concept of OBE education and the orientation of local application-oriented universities in Guizhou University of Engineering Science, this paper focuses on the core problems existing in the teaching of paleontology and geological history, and constructs the curriculum system from six aspects: clarifying the teaching objectives of the curriculum, integrating the teaching contents of the curriculum, reforming the teaching methods of the curriculum, constructing the curriculum resource base, improving the evaluation of the curriculum results and promoting the achievement of the curriculum objectives by means of online and offline teaching integration. It is committed to improving the quality of teaching and provide reference for cultivating high-quality applied undergraduate talents with both moral integrity and talent required for economic development.
