Research on the Practice Teaching Mode of Cultivating Innovative, Composite, and Applied Talents in Civil Engineering

Abstract: With the high-quality development of civil engineering construction in China, higher requirements have been put forward for the comprehensive quality of civil engineering college students. This article proposes strategies for cultivating innovative, composite, and applied talents in the field of civil engineering, taking into account the dispersed knowledge points and strong practicality of the discipline. By constructing a diversified practical teaching mechanism, optimizing the content of practical teaching, innovating a three-stage progressive practical teaching model of experimental teaching, subject competition, and social practice, and focusing on improving students'innovative thinking and practical abilities, to provide reference for cultivating innovative, composite, and application-oriented civil engineering professionals.
