Research on Classroom Teaching Reform of English under the Background of Smart Education—Based on the Exploration of Technological Innovation and Teaching Methods

Abstract: With the rapid development of information technology, the concept of smart education has been widely accepted, which brings new opportunities and challenges for English classroom teaching reform. How to improve English teachers' ability to apply educational information technology, so that they can better grasp information technology and apply it to classroom teaching, is an urgent problem to be solved. This paper explores how English teachers can improve the quality of classroom teaching and cultivate students'autonomous learning ability and innovative spirit through technological innovation and exploration of teaching methods in the context of smart education.
