Possibility, Challenges, and Countermeasure for Integrating Health and Social Care Competitions with Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education

Abstract: China's aging population accelerates, leading to a pressing need for high-quality, innovative elderly care professionals. This article focuses on elderly care skills competitions, geriatric specialty development, and innovation entrepreneurship education, proposing strategies including developing a competition-education integrated curriculum, deepening industry-education collaboration, building dual-qualified teaching teams, and enhancing evaluation and incentive mechanisms. These actions aim to foster the coordinated development of vocational skills competitions and innovation entrepreneurship education, cultivating interdisciplinary elderly care professionals that meet industry needs.
