Reform Practice of Safety Science and Engineering Postgraduate Curriculum System—A Case Study of Shandong University of Science and Technology

Abstract: In order to further improve the training quality of innovative talents for graduate students in safety science and engineering discipline, this paper takes the research on the training of graduate students in safety science and engineering of Shandong University of Science and Technology as an example, analyzes the existing problems in the training of graduate students, and puts forward the training system of“demand traction-prominent features-production and research support-mass innovation drive”. Comprehensively explain the advantages of this plan from three aspects: innovation in the training system, innovation in the“teacher platform”, and innovation in the training mode. Driven by this model, after more than ten years of reform and practice, fruitful results have been achieved, fully meeting the demand for high-end talents in the fields of national safety production and occupational health.
