Reform and Innovation of Practical Teaching in Tourism Management Major of Application-Oriented Undergraduate in Digital Age

Abstract: Under the background of the construction of new liberal arts, the cultivation of digital tourism talents with application-oriented, interdisciplinary, and innovative characteristics is the driving force and accelerator to promote the high-quality development of the tourism industry. It is also the responsibility and mission assigned to the practical teaching reform and innovation of tourism management major in application-oriented undergraduate education in the new era. Against this backdrop, this article explores the differentiated development of tourism talent training in applied undergraduate education in the digital age. Based on this, it proposes ideas for the reform and innovation of practical teaching in tourism management major in applied undergraduate education, including the goal of cultivating practical teaching ability, the construction of practical teaching curriculum system, and the evaluation of students'practical teaching ability.
