Exploration of Practical Teaching Reform of Building Construction Safety Course in Vocational Colleges Based on Similarity Theory

Abstract: It is crucial for the healthy development of the construction industry to create a high-quality construction safety course for architecture majors in vocational colleges, cultivate high-quality, skilled, safety savvy, and safety conscious professionals. This article analyzes the current situation of construction safety course teaching, summarizes the main problems in practical teaching of the course, and innovatively proposes the introduction of similar simulation theory into the construction safety course practical teaching. Combining digital teaching methods, it explores new practical teaching projects, constructs a new model of integrating theory, virtuality, and reality teaching, and further improves the quality and learning effect of project-based teaching, to cultivate versatile technical and skilled talents.
