Reform and Practice on the Cultivation System of Non-technical Ability in Engineering Education

Abstract: The cultivation of non-technical ability plays an important role in the engineering education accreditation. It is the basic work to promote the student-centered teaching reform of higher education, an effective way to improve the comprehensive quality of students, and also a difficult point in the process of student cultivation. Based on the exploration practice of the measurement and control technology and instrument major in Dalian Maritime University, this paper analyzes how to optimize the non-technical ability training system for the engineering education accreditation, and discusses issues such as curriculum formulation, diversified teaching method, strengthening of key training sections and design of evaluation methods, in order to provide reference for the construction and reform of related majors.
