Abstract: To do ideological and political work well is the lifeline for university to carry out all kinds of education and teaching work smoothly in Xinjiang. It is also the necessary condition for colleges and universities to realize " high moral values establishment and people cultivation" and train qualified socialist builders and reliable successors for the motherland. Under the background of the new era, the success of Ideological and political work in Xinjiang's colleges and universities is related to whether Xinjiang can successfully achieve the goal of building a well-off society in an all-round way and realizing socialist modernization.
