Abstract: The "three can do three things", six "wants" and eight "unity" put forward in the symposium of teachers of ideological and political theory course in school have a great agreement with the ideological and political education work of college counselors, which is the action guide for college counselors to carry out ideological and political work. Therefore, to strengthen the construction of college counselors, we can start from the following four aspects: encouraging college counselors to be stable in the front line of student work; Strengthen the ideological and political cultivation of university counselors; To improve the ability of college counselors in ideological and political education; College counselors are encouraged to participate in the teaching of ideological and political courses.
