Countermeasure Research on Homogenization of English Learning APPs

Abstract: With the development of Internet, the era of Big Data has arrived. Nowadays, an increasing number of English learners are seeking to get rid of the inefficient and dull learning methods of copying and reciting by using the aid of APPs of all description developed for the purpose of English learning. At present, English learning apps are fast growing, but most of them are beyond supervision in education department. In order to expand the market share, many English learning APP designers have neglected the inherent quality, just for profit. The homogenization of English learning APP is serious, and even mutual imitation. Vicious competition breaks up in the marketing, which leads to great dilemmas for learners. In this paper, relevant investigations on homogenization were conducted among students in this province, then analysis and countermeasures are followed.
