Abstract: In order to explore the supporting role of art universities in the innovative development of new quality productivity, this article starts with the specific roles of art universities in talent cultivation, interdisciplinary innovation, and the promotion of cultural and creative industries. It analyzes the shortcomings of current art universities in talent cultivation models, industry education integration mechanisms, innovation platform construction, and interdisciplinary integration. Research suggests that optimizing the curriculum system, strengthening school enterprise collaboration, promoting digital transformation, and improving interdisciplinary cooperation mechanisms can effectively enhance the supporting or promoting role of art universities in new quality productivity. The results indicate that building a multidimensional innovation ecosystem and resource sharing system is the key path to achieving deep integration of cultural creativity and technology.
