Abstract: The cultivation of innovation and entrepreneurship ability is an important measure for the country to implement the innovation driven development strategy and promote comprehensive reform of higher education. The talent cultivation goal of applied universities is to cultivate high-quality applied talents who can adapt to social needs, guide practice with theory, and possess innovative thinking and abilities. This article conducts an in-depth analysis of innovation and entrepreneurship education, analyzing the urgent problems that need to be solved in the construction of the innovation and entrepreneurship education system. It explores the construction of the innovation and entrepreneurship education system in application-oriented undergraduate universities, hoping to provide strong support for promoting the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education in universities.
