Abstract: With the continuous development of the economy and society, the education and teaching of vocational colleges are facing greater opportunities and challenges. Various industries have put forward higher requirements for the English proficiency of vocational college graduates. How to carry out the integration of English industry and education in education has become an important issue in the reform of vocational college education. This study aims to explore the ways of integrating vocational public English teaching with industry based education, and propose a vocational public English teaching model based on industry cooperation. The research results show that the teaching model of integrating industry and education can effectively improve students'English comprehensive ability and employment competitiveness.
