Abstract: As an important force in promoting national development, college students are important targets for innovation and entrepreneurship education in universities. The state encourages college students to start their own businesses, and universities strengthen innovation and entrepreneurship education, which plays an important role in promoting the cultivation of college students' awareness of innovation and entrepreneurship. Currently, innovation and entrepreneurship education in universities can improve the employment and entrepreneurship abilities of college students to a certain extent, create more employment opportunities for college students, and alleviate employment pressure. This paper is based on improving college students' awareness and ability of innovation and entrepreneurship, analyzing the existing problems in current college students' innovation and entrepreneurship education, and exploring ways to enhance college students' awareness and ability of innovation and entrepreneurship, with a view to providing certain guiding suggestions for college students' employment and entrepreneurship education.
