Abstract: With the change of economic environment and social talent demand, Talent training of economics faces challenges. The traditional economics is basically biased toward academic talents training, they lay too much stress on theoretical research but despise practice, as a result, talents always lack applied talent. This training model leads to greater employment pressure and insufficient market competitiveness for students. These situations also exist in local undergraduate institutions. Therefore, this paper analyzes the problems existing in the applied talents training of economics in local undergraduate university, and puts forward to build an applied talent training models of economics which based on professional competence under the background of Integration of enterprises with vocational schools and universities. In order to solve the new demand on the knowledge structure of economics talents from the social and technological progress, industry reform and the future society.
