后疫情时代古生物学课程的混合式教学探索

Mixed Teaching Exploration of Course Paleontology under the Background of Post Epidemic Era

摘要: 后疫情时代,许多课程开始采用线上线下混合教学模式。其中,古生物学课程为地质学的基础课程之一,其课程内容较为复杂,双线教学的模式给教师的授课和学生掌握课堂知识带来了许多挑战。该文梳理了古生物课程教学存在的主要问题,提出以多种教学手段相结合的方法来帮助学生理解生僻的知识;从古生物学内容的逻辑性角度展开课程内容,从而提高学生的学习兴趣和主动性;最后,针对不同学科、不同发展方向的学生设计不同的教学内容,让课程内容和学生专业达到一个较高的契合度。

Abstract: During the COVID-19, mixed online and offline teaching have been applied to many courses. Paleontology, which is one of the core courses of geology, has quite complicate content. The mixed teaching mode makes it much harder for teacher to teach and for student to learn. The present paper concludes the main problems in teaching paleontology, and suggests that we can help student understand the obscure knowledge by using multiple teaching methods. In addition, student's learning interest and initiative can be improved by the learning the logicality of paleontology. Finally, the course content can be adjusted for students from different majors and students with different learning interests.
