Abstract: The joint practice base is one of the most important platforms for the in-depth integration of industry-university-research. Through the investigation of the master's internship content, double-tutor system, course and employment in Applied Statistics of Guilin University of Electronic Science and Technology, we investigate the joint training practice, cultivation quality, existing problems and coping strategies in the view of students. We suggest that we should improve the management and organization of the base, construct the training mechanism centering on the growth of graduate students, improve the responsibility and authority mechanism of double supervisors, strengthen the process management and so on. Our results can provide reference for talent cultivation in postgraduates majoring in applied statistics.
