Abstract: Higher education shoulders the mission of disseminating knowledge and innovating technology, and it also bears the responsibility of cultivating the aesthetic quality and humanistic spirit of young students. However, local engineering colleges and universities face many challenges in carrying out aesthetic education due to limitations in their disciplines and majors. Heilongjiang Institute of Technology actively explores effective ways to construct an aesthetic education curriculum system. By updating aesthetic education concepts and innovating aesthetic education curriculum content, it enhances students'aesthetic ability and humanistic quality, providing beneficial references for similar institutions and laying a solid foundation for cultivating high-quality engineering talents.
