Abstract: The training system of foreign students in higher vocational colleges is an important carrier to serve the “the Belt and Road” initiative and improve the internationalization level of vocational education. At present, the education of foreign students in higher vocational colleges in China faces new development needs in enrollment selection mechanism, talent training program, etc. This article proposes optimization paths such as building a systematic enrollment and selection system, improving a distinctive talent training system, perfecting a collaborative education and teaching system, and establishing a convergence management service system, which can effectively improve the quality of vocational education for international students in higher vocational colleges, promote the high-quality development of vocational education, and enhance international influence.
