Abstract: With the development of digital technology and the proposal of rural revitalization strategies, homestays have become an important carrier for the development of rural digital culture and tourism. The combination of digitalization and homestay design has also become a direction for the transformation and upgrading of rural tourism industry. This article summarizes the impact of homestay design on the development of rural digital tourism and the main problems in current rural homestay design. It explores relevant strategies to promote the inheritance and dissemination of regional culture, and proposes practical teaching methods for cultivating innovative rural homestay design talents that meet the needs of the times.
