Abstract: With the widespread application of information technology, digitalization of education has become a hot topic in global education reform. This article introduces the concepts, characteristics, and applications of OBE concept and smart classroom teaching mode in teaching practice. Then, it explores the design principles, key elements, and steps of a digital smart classroom teaching mode for foreign language education in universities based on OBE concept. It is expected to provide new ideas and strategies for the digital transformation of foreign language education under the guidance of OBE concept, promote the development of students'foreign language abilities, and improve teaching quality.
