Abstract: Under the background of the rapid development of social and economy, the reform of college talent training mode has become the focus. This paper deeply discusses the construction of the training mechanism for application-oriented innovative talents in colleges and universities, expounds the basic principles of combining theory with practice, teaching students according to their aptitude and collaborative innovation in the construction process, and puts forward specific strategies from the aspects of constructing the tutor system based on the subject, optimizing the credit setting, reforming the examination system and adjusting the semester system. It aims to provide theoretical reference and practical guidance for improving the training quality of applied talents in colleges and universities and meeting the social demand for innovative talents.
