Abstract: With the rapid development of information technology, multimedia technology, as one of the technology of modern education, has gradually applied in various aspects of teaching field. The public sports volleyball course in colleges and universities is helpful to cultivate students'comprehensive quality of sports. The multimedia teaching technology enriches the teaching content of public sports volleyball course in colleges and universities and improves students'enthusiasm for learning. This paper analyzes the application status, advantages and problems of multimedia technology in the public sports volleyball course in colleges and universities, and puts forward corresponding improvement measures, hoping to help the teaching reform of public sports volleyball course and students get better growth.
