Abstract: Under the dual background of urban renewal and digital transformation, vocational civil engineering majors are facing new opportunities and challenges. This article focuses on the current situation and development trends of the industry, explores the application of digital technology in urban renewal, and based on this, puts forward the demand and characteristics of positions in the civil engineering industry under the new situation. It then explores how vocational civil engineering majors should adapt to these changes and puts forward a series of suggestions to promote the high-quality development of vocational civil engineering majors and cultivate high-end composite technical and skilled talents for urban renewal and digital transformation.
