Abstract: The new era has put forward new requirements for the development of vocational education, and the popularity and depth of career education determine the quality of talent cultivation in vocational education. How to educate students to develop and plan their professional careers, identify personal career development goals and directions within the limited time of three years in vocational education, plays a crucial role in achieving their talent cultivation goals in vocational education. This article aims to analyze the current situation of career education in vocational colleges, explore the problems existing in career education, and propose employment oriented suggestions for constructing a career education system that covers the entire cycle of vocational education, providing useful reference for career education in vocational colleges.
