Abstract: With the development of modern engineering education, the training objectives of metalworking internships are more focused on innovation ability and engineering practice ability. This article applies the OBE model to explore the reform of metalworking internship teaching, applying updated practical teaching concepts, optimized teaching content, and improved teaching methods to enhance students'ability of metalworking. The practical results indicate that this model has achieved good teaching results, significantly improving the quality of metalworking internship teaching, adapting to the needs of modern engineering education, and has important reference significance for cultivating applied talents.
