Abstract: With the development of society and transformation of industrial structure, the cultivation of applied talents has become an important part of college education system under the background of new engineering. The industry-university-research cooperation mode takes advantage of respective advantages of universities, scientific research institutions and enterprises, and provides a strong guarantee for cultivation and transmission of excellent innovative talents with high comprehensive quality. Meanwhile, the transformation of scientific research achievements and social development are promoted, which has become an important means of higher education development. In this paper, relevant strategies are put forward to promote the cooperation of industry university research via analyzing the current situation of the construction of industry university research in colleges and universities, which provides a basis for the construction of industry-university-research platform and the training of applied innovative talents.
